
Volunteer Guidelines
We are asking all parents to join our team of volunteers. We need help throughout the entire season to maintain an organized organization where our children can thrive. Evergreen Park Stallions Youth Athletic Organization runs on volunteers. Everyone working to make sure this organization runs well and our children have a safe and supportive community to learn and grow is a volunteer-the coaches, the board members, the team moms, everyone in the concession stand, we are ALL volunteers. We need your help to make your child's experience a positive one. We ask that every family completes three (3) volunteer duties during the season.
We need assistance during our home games with set up, concessions, announcing the players and game, running the scoreboard, working the chain gang, selling split the pot tickets, cleaning up, etc. We are also in need of help during our special events.

BUYOUTS
Buyouts for your 3 shifts is $100. If you know you will not be able to complete 3 volunteer duties throughout the season, you can select the Volunteer Buyout option when registering. If you have already registered and did not select that option, but now know you cannot complete these requirements, please let our president (Christal) or treasurer (Fran) know if you choose to buyout. All buyout selection and money is due by the first day of football practice July 28th. If we don't receive a buyout payment by that date, we will anticipate that you will be signing up to volunteer and the buyout option is null.
VOLUNTEER SHIFTS
each family is required to volunteer for 3 shifts. You will be able to sign up for available volunteer slots on our website. You will be notified via email when Volunteer Duty Options become available. Once they are available, you will have until the date of our first home game to sign up for your three (3) shifts/duties. If you do not sign up for 3 shifts by that date and you have not purchased the Volunteer Buyout option at registration (or PRIOR to July 28th), your account will be charged the full $150 incomplete Volunteer Duties Fee.
Before you begin your “shift” you will need to check in at the Volunteer Table near the concession stand and sign-in. When you have completed your shift, you will also need to sign-out. Please note, it is your responsibility to sign-in and sign-out in order to receive your credit for that shift. If you do not sign in and sign out we will assume you did not do the shift.
MISSED SHIFTS will be charged $50 per shift with the card we have on file at the end of the games. If payment does not go thru on the card your child will not be able to practice or play till payment is made. There is no making up missed shifts, if you need to reschedule a shift it is your responsibility to contact our volunteer coordinators at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled shift. Volunteers are ESSENTIAL to running a home game day. We need to be able to rely on our volunteers to show up when expected.
- Please remember to volunteer at a convenient time so your volunteer time does not conflict with time watching your own child.
- Please mark your calendar with each date and time you are committing to as we do rely on your help.
- When reporting for your volunteer shift, sign-in and sign-out at the volunteer table to receive your appropriate credit. If your last name is different than your child’s, please let us know.
